Botanical Print Mandala Workshop (Joy Connection)

  • Samford Farmers Hall 30 Main Street Samford Village, QLD, 4520 Australia (map)

Join Phoebe to create a beautiful botanical print mandala using pressed flower art techniques, inks and paper. These workshops take place in various locations across Moreton Bay, north of Brisbane.

Mandala, meaning circle in Sanskrit, is a geometric design organised around a unifying centre. Botanical mandalas reflect the circle of life. They serve as a symbol of the ever-changing seasons we encounter throughout life.

The workshop begins with a short, guided relaxation exercise to help calm your nervous system. Then, Phoebe will guide you through a meditative process of working with natural items to design your print. This involves pressing flowers and foliage into ink, then transferring the ink onto thick artist paper stock.

What's included

  • A sensory experience using natural materials.

  • All the materials needed to design your print.
